Julie produced , shot and edited this documentary down to a finely crafted and sensitive story about some of the inspiration behind my work. I cover some of this in The Larrikin In Me , my introduction to Larrikin , but Julie’s film is concise and covers so much, beautifully, in just a few minutes. Feel free to leave a comment.

Data obtained by Transparent California , a project of the Nevada Policy Research Institute, show that Thompson pulled down $300,000 in overtime pay during 2017, on top of his $92,000 salary. Over the past four years, Thompson has earned more than $1 million in overtime, according to Transparent California's database. When we started doing these reports nearly 3 years ago, we did it because we looked around and noticed that the only income reports out there were from people making a huge amount of money from their blogs. We weren’t. In fact, I think the first month that we published an income report was the first month we had ever cracked the $1000 mark. The term "weblog" was coined by Jorn Barger [9] on 17 December 1997. The short form, "blog", was coined by Peter Merholz, who jokingly broke the word weblog into the phrase we blog in the sidebar of his blog in April or May 1999. [10] [11] [12] Shortly thereafter, Evan Williams at Pyra Labs used "blog" as both a noun and verb ("to blog", meaning "to edit one's weblog or to post to one's weblog") and devised the term "blogger" in connection with Pyra Labs' Blogger product, leading to the popularization of the terms. I have a terrible weakness for gummy bears. I will eat as many gummy bears as I can, which is why I haven’t bought any in years.  Sugar free gummy bears are known for their unintended laxative effect, so I don’t buy those either.

Last month was also the time where I took part in one of my first big affiliate launches. I have never done that, and it was great.
